I was really hoping that this post would be a promotional post for my next book’s release, but unfortunately, I have to announce that instead of being released on Oct 30th, I’ve had to postpone it to Nov 13th.
The reason is that my husband was deployed a week and a half ago, and all the extra work, emotional stress, and such associated with solo managing a household of five kids made it impossible for me to work on the book. I’m coming out of the fog now, though and back to work!
If you haven’t gotten a chance to check out the preorder, you can do that on Amazon!Pre-order Maw of the Abyss on Amazon Kindle!
Now’s also a great chance to catch up on the other Torin Keth books.

Newsletter Moving to Patreon
I’ve decided to change up my newsletter a bit. My email platform, Mailchimp, has been trimming down how many subscribers I can have without paying a fee, so I’ve been looking around for an alternative.
Also, Google has been cracking down on email marketers that do not send out emails regularly or often enough. Their emails are getting sent to spam folders more often. I recently saw this happen to another author and it’s had me a bit worried.
Patreon seems to be a decent alternative. I’ve been following another author, Kevin J. Anderson, on there for some time as one of his free subscribers, and I think it’ll do nicely. I currently have it set up so that my regular newsletter will still be free, with the option of adding more in-depth stuff for paid subscribers who want more.
Lastly, I hope that by putting my writing and art behind a (small) paywall, I’ll be able to show you the exciting things I’m working on without having to worry about it being stolen by AI. As of right now, AI doesn’t seem able to get through paywalls.Patreon Newsletter
My regular email newsletter will still exist, but in a more bare-bones fashion for those who just want updates on new releases, my convention schedule, and promotions that I do with other fantasy and sci-fi authors. If that’s what you’d prefer, you’re welcome to stick around!
Just be aware that if you do decide to stick with the regular email newsletter, I will be trimming out inactive subscribers periodically to stay under my email platform’s free plan limit. That means people who don’t open emails or click on anything. I wish I didn’t have to do this, but I just don’t have the money right now. Thanks for understanding.
Happy Halloween!
