Store Updates

Time for some much-needed updates! Even though I’ve been pretty quiet, there has been a flurry of activity behind the scenes. I’m happy to say that I’ve finally been able to wrest control of my book from the clutches of Amazon’s Kindle Select program and am now able to sell and distribute my eBook myself.

(Enrolling in Amazon’s Kindle Select program allows authors to put their books in Kindle Unlimited but makes the eBook exclusive to Amazon for 90 days. I found that I sold more books than received borrows from their library and that the losses from not having my book on other platforms was worth withdrawing from the program.)

You can now purchase my book on Amazon or on my website.

Sequel

In other news, I’ve been hard at work on the sequel to Muspell’s Sons. It will again feature Cadmus Brand and his companions as they continue their fight against the kashmari on Muspelheim. The writing phase has gone a lot slower than I’d prefer because I had to scrap my original outline and come up with a new one that I feel is more dynamic and interesting. However, now that I’ve got that sorted out, I’m excited to really dig into it! My goal is to have the book published by March 1, 2024.

Future Updates

I’ve installed a progress bar here on my website that you can watch to keep track of my progress. As I reach milestones such as the completion of the first draft, I’ll be sure to post an update here. Other than that, though, I’m probably not going to be posting many updates on this blog for a while. I’d rather spend my time writing the next book.

Until next time, thanks for stopping by!
