Muspell’s Sons

Book 1 of the Realm War Chronicles

Cadmus Brand thrives as a renowned gladiator, dining with powerful kashmari lords and catering to their whims. Yet, his life teeters on a knife’s edge as discovery of his magical powers would mean certain death.

Brand’s journey to find his place in this treacherous world will take him across a desert littered with magical artifacts, populated by dangerous creatures, and haunted by innumerable secrets buried beneath the shifting sands.

The Shackles of a Mountain Lord (Coming Soon!)

Book 2 of the Realm War Chronicles

A year after the events of the first book, Cadmus Brand continues his fight against the demonic kashmari that rule the desert realm of Muspelheim. The dark kashmari High Lord Fafnir now knows exactly what Brand is–a pharmakon, an ancient order of alchemical magic-users–and intends to use Brand’s abilities for his own nefarious purposes. While searching for clues about High Lord Fafnir’s plans and how to stop him, Brand’s adventure takes an unexpected turn that leads him to find new allies…and lose others. Meanwhile, Brand’s friends, the crew of the sand trawler Polaris, discover the source of the unrest that has plagued Lord Fafnir for years, and seek to unleash it upon the kashmari lords.
