When I first read Warbreaker by Brandon Sanderson, my husband was in grad school and we were dirt poor. I couldn’t afford the actual book, but I found it for free on his website with annotations in the margins. I was fascinated by his notes on his writing process and thought it would be really cool to do with my own stories one day.

Fast forward to today. I have the sci-fi short story “Embers” available on my website, so last night I went through it and added some comments, similar to a commentary track on a DVD (do they do that anymore?). I also added the link to the first part of the audiobook version of the story so that everything is collected in one place.
